WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 6:00 - 8:00 PM - Pat Donohue & Friends Dan Newton and Mike Cramer at the Midway Saloon in St. Paul. Hey folks, we have a brand new friend this week at the Midway. Mike Cramer is a great guitar player of many styles and he’ll be there with us picking up a storm. He plays in a local group, the Barley Jacks, and more recently a member of the Cafe Accordion Orchestra with our old buddy accordion master Dan Newton, who will also be on stage with us this Wednesday evening. This will be a first time trio of the highest order.  

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 6:00 - 8:00 PM - Pat Donohue & NO Friends at the Midway Saloon in St. Paul. Hi folks, every six months or so I give my talented friends a night off and go solo just to see if I can still do it. I’ll bring all my guitars and songs and some parodies. There’ll be blues, jazz, folk, originals, instrumentals and a whole lot of fun with no one to blame but myself. I sure hope you can join me, it would get lonesome by myself on stage without you. We have some really nice P.D.&F. shows coming up in the next few weeks with some great guests lined up but this week you’ll get a straight shot of P.D. undiluted and unadorned, for better or worse.

Two very fine players are on board with me this week, mandolin picker extraordinaire Liz Ashworth will be there playing and singing her way into our hearts. She is a great musician and so much fun to play with and listen to. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25, 6:00 - 8:00 PM - Pat Donohue & Friends Lynn(e) Peterson, Gary Raynor and Peter Johnson at the Midway Saloon in St. Paul. This week we have the angel voiced Lynn Peterson, who sang on a few of our shows last year that tore the house down. As if that weren’t enough, we also have drummer Peter Johnson and bassist Gary Raynor from the Prairie All Stars, a rhythm section that can’t be beat.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 6:00 - 8:00 PM - Two favorites are returning and I can’t wait. Keyboard master and singer of all songs Dan Chouinard will be there with his piano, and mandolin virtuoso Richard Kriehn will be astounding and delighting folks with his tasty playing, which is what he does.

Featuring one of the best P.D.&F trios ever this Wednesday at the Midway. Richard Kriehn is becoming a mandolin legend around these parts and for good reason. The boy can just flat out play and it’s always inspiring. Not to mention the great Daddy Squeeze, Dan Newton on accordion, who brings honor to the instrument through great playing and a driving presence and repertoire everyone loves.
