1. Train I Ride Some great traditional blues lyrics with a classic Guys’ Shoe Band groove.
2. I Never Cried
With harmonica man Howard Levy turning in a brilliant performance in spite of having broken a tooth just minutes before.
3. Border Pine Minnesotans take their cabins up north very seriously. I don’t really have a cabin but I had fun singing this with my long-time friend Mary Flower.
4. Gee Whiz
Oh, gosh, the title says it all...
5. One Kind Favor Blind Lemon Jefferson’s ode to death, done at a Halloween show. I remember being scared.
6. Candyman A loose interpretation of Reverend Gary Davis’ guitar masterpiece.
7. Stealin’ from Chet
What can I say? The most exciting three minutes of my life. We miss you, Chet.
8. Frisco Town
A Memphis Minnie tune that rocks. So did she.
9. Road to Kingdom Come
This is a staple of my solo show, but it was a real boost having the band play on it. Great job, guys.
10. Avalon
The first tune I ever played with Chet on the air. It was all I could do to play my part. I was tempted to watch him and try to steal his licks.

11. K.C. Moan
A classic jug band tune done in Kansas City. The Memphis Horns got a funky Salvation Army sound that I really love.
12. Waiting for a Plane
Dedicated to anyone whose job involves a lot of air travel. Apologies to the yodeling brakeman Jimmie Rogers.
13. Mudslide
A simple slide guitar solo that came off well...not too many mistakes.
14. Boogie My Blues Away Feeling good when you’re feeling bad. That’s what the blues is all about.
15. Sushi-Yucki Combine a beautiful, familiar melody with some new lyrics involving bodily functions and you’ve got a sure-fire hit.
16. Sugarfoot Rag
A great old country bluegrass instrumental. I was surprised I got the ending right.
17. Strawberry Fields Forever
A fantastic piece of music. I tried to do justice to it on acoustic guitar.
18. Memphis in June A beautiful and under appreciated Hoagy Carmichael tune. GK’s idea to do it on a Memphis broadcast. A rare, sensitive moment for the Guys All Star Shoe Band.
19. Make Up Your Mind (Real Audio)
I tried to write these lyrics to sound traditional. I love how the band sounds on this.
